This submission contributes to the process of streamlining and simplifying powers of attorney documents to enable more Victorians to plan for their future financial, lifestyle and healthcare needs.
It focuses on people with an intellectual disability and their families. We believe that reform should place people with intellectual disability at the centre of any decision making process, and that it should support and provide a clear framework for caring families to help their adult offspring with decision making.
