Financial security for carers

Carers Victoria collaborated with Carers Australia and the Network of Carers Associations to prepare a response to the Commonwealth Pension Review.

We believe that the base rate of pensions and allowances should provide a decent standard of living and ensure that caring families on a low income are valued and able to participate fully in community life.
