Caroline embraces the philosophy that caring is a shared responsibility for families, communities, businesses and government and she looks forward to taking this vision forward as Carers Victoria progresses into the next decade.
In particular, Caroline is focused on finding new ways to engage with carers, so that we can work together to achieve community living for caring families.
About Caroline
Caroline’s ‘caring’ career in the health industry has been long and varied, spanning more than 25 years in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia. Her experience has included clinical care, operational and strategic planning and senior management and administration roles.
In recent years, Caroline has focused on reviewing and planning services, both in the short and longer terms, and has led organisations through substantial periods of change and established new models of effective governance. She has been instrumental in building robust and effective business models that also facilitate compassionate and sensitive treatment of clients.
Caroline has a Masters in Health Sciences, majoring in research methods and is passionate about enquiry and evidence-based practices.
